Move Students Up a Grade


As we move forward with each new school year, students' information in the database must be up-to-date. Your Activity Scheduler (AS) offers a feature that can update the students' grade level by batch. This function will move the graduated students into the archive storage and the rest of the list one grade up.

This guide will show you the steps on how this can be completed.

Tip! Use this function with caution if your AS is connected to the Activity Registration program.

To get started, log in as an Administrator and go to the Student Eligibility & Information (SEI) module:

On the next screen, the system will list all your students in the database and their current and upcoming grade levels. Ensure to check the list before you proceed with the action, as we can no longer retrieve students who have been transferred to the archive storage. They will appear in reports as Graduated students, however there is no immediate feature that can restore them to the list.

In the “Move Students Up a Grade” section, you will see the students list including the date this function was last used.

Tip! Always check the last operation date to know if another Administrator has used this feature.
